We can practice in the Enclosure, once we're back on the Barge, so he can experience how it'll feel when it fires for real.

[Since she can just make a holographic one that will fire without it being self defense.]

But I'll walk him through the basics as soon as he has it in hand. It's pretty straightforward, and I'm sure he'll pick it up quickly!
